With IP/400, companies can use IP network (Internet Protocol) as communication infrastructure and thus they can reduce telecommunication charges regarding their file transfers.

IP/400 is a new generation of software package which use the functions of TBT/400 software package but which is based on the TCP/IP network to dialogue directly starting from iSeries/AS400.

IP/400 is a multiprotocol platform of communication. IP/400 ensures all EDI exchanges or others (Odette, PeSIT, Etebac3, Atlas440, X400, ftp...), in emission as in reception, tended flow and/or by vacations.

In order to guarantee the quality of service in the safety way, IP/400 supports the encrypted transfers on TCP/IP network by using "SSL". As an opened system, IP400 cohabits with X25 world.

This software package is operational for several months and some IPLS customers already use it in production (such as Géodis Logistics, ERC Moral Service, Moulinex, Pomona...).
